As a reminder, MSR provides a 3-year Limited Warranty to the original purchaser. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, provided the product is used as intended and properly maintained.

Broken tent poles can be easily repaired or replaced, as can shock cord that's lost it's stretchiness. Just because an individual segment is broken doesn't mean you need an entirely new pole set - restringing your pole set with new shock cord (or reusing the existing shock cord) goes hand in hand with replacing a pole segment.
Similar to an old rubber band this elastic shock chord will dry out requiring replacement. Knowing the exact model of your tent is critical to ordering compatible replacement parts. This can actually get a bit confusing, because we have a variety of Hubba series models - for example - going back many years. Without the exact identification, any parts ordered won't be compatible. So, it's important to get this right out of the gate!
Step 1: Identify Exactly What Year/Model Tent You Have
Before reaching out to place an order, please take a moment to identify your tent model and the exact parts you need. The diagrams and photos below are here to help—be sure your tent matches the image exactly so you’re selecting the correct year, size, and part numbers.
Please note: it’s the customer’s responsibility to confirm the correct tent and parts before ordering. Double check that your tent poles are pointing in the same direction as the tech drawing in regard to the ferrules and internal inserts when determining what parts you need. Measure twice, order once.

Step 2: Setting Up Your Parts Order Request
Once you've found your tent diagram and identify which segments you need, follow the directions below to submit your request. Pro Tip: Mention, "Pole Segment Request" in the subject line then use the info below to request your needed parts. This will allow our agents to sort and batch our requests for faster service.
Cost: $5 per segment (USD) and $8 per segment (CAD) + shipping and any implemented state / province tax.
Full pole sets a rainfly or canopy (tent body) are roughly (USD) $120-$180.
When submitting your request, please include the tent model, quantity needed of each segment, the Segment #, and a brief description of each pole segment, as shown below:

Your MSR tent carries a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects from date of purchase. Once the warranty has expired we will do our best to replace worn parts at a reasonable cost.
