To start off, it's important to note that WindBurner pots should only be used with WindBurner stoves. This is because both the pot and stove are designed to work together seamlessly. There are two types of WindBurner stove burners available. The first type screws directly onto the top of the canister and is found only in the smallest WindBurner system, the Personal 1.0 L System. The second type is a newer remote-canister design, where the stove is connected to the canister via a fuel line. This design is available in all other WindBurner Systems.
Compatibility
All WindBurner pots can be used with the new remote-canister stove, which offers the stability needed for the larger pots. So, the remote-canister stove is compatible with:
- Personal Pot 1.0 L
- Duo Pot 1.8 L
- Skillet
- 2.5 L Group Sauce Pot
- 4.5 L Stock Pot
If you have the 1.0 L Personal system or a first-gen 1.8 L system with a stove that mounts on top of the canister, you can use these pots:
- Personal Pot 1.0 L
- Duo Pot 1.8 L
- Skillet
Please avoid using the larger 2.5 L Group Sauce Pot or 4.5 L Stock Pot on this top-mounted stove, as the larger pots can be less stable on it.
