Our snowshoes and bindings are usually stamped with a manufacture date. This will take 2 forms either a little dial stamped into the plastic or a 4 digit date stamped into the fabric examples are shown below and will indicate when the snowshoe deck or binding was made. Overtime the stamp will fad; you may need a magnifying glass to see it more clearly. Please note the manufacture date does not necessarily reflect the assembly date so you may find two different dates and for warranty purposes a receipt will be the best source of truth if you are experiencing a breakage. Always keep your receipts!
Evo and Denali
The date code for the Evo and Denali snowshoe decks are stamped into the plastic on the underside of the snowshoe platform. There will be two small circles with numbers around them like a clock. Inside the circle, there will be an arrow pointing towards one of the numbers. The circle on the left indicates what month the snowshoe was made in while the circle on the right indicates the year. In the example below, the snowshoe was made in 2-12 or February of 2012.
Revo
All Revo snowshoes are stamped with a date code on the bottom of the snowshoe, below the toe cutout on the left side. There will be a single circle with numbers 1 through 12 printed around the outside like a clock. There will be an arrow pointing to one of the numbers which indicates the month in which the snowshoe was made. On either side of the arrow will be the year the snowshoe was made. In the example below, the snowshoe was manufactured in 11-14 or November 2014.
Lightning
All Lightning snowshoes are stamped with their production date on the underside of the snowshoe above the cutout for the toe. There will be four numbers stamped into the fabric of the deck. The first two numbers indicate the month the snowshoe was made and the last two numbers indicate the year. In the example below, the snowshoe was made in June of 2012.
Bindings
Each binding is different generally speaking you will see a circular date code stamped into the underside of the binding. It may be two separate stamps one for year and one for month or one stamp showing both the year and month below is indicating August of 2014.
