Does MSR SuperFuel have an expiration date?

We recommend using your container of MSR SuperFuel within 6 months of opening the container. After about 6 months, the fuel starts to degrade as components within the fuel separate and become gooey. Older fuel will also burn less efficiently in your stove. Unfortunately, there isn’t much that can be done to slow this process down, which is why we suggesting using the fuel within 6 months of opening the container.
